Legal Policies
Protecting your rights and data is our priority.
Privacy Policy
At Oqoud Global, we are committed to upholding the highest standards of data privacy. This policy outlines how we handle your information, focusing exclusively on the transactional logs necessary to provide our legally-compliant services in Kuwait, in line with local laws and principles of the GDPR.
1. Information We Collect and Process (Transactional Logs)
Our platform operates on a principle of data minimization. We collect and retain only the data that is essential for legal and business purposes. This data consists of:
- **Transactional Logs:** We securely log data related to contract creation, signing, and other actions performed on the platform. This includes timestamps, the parties involved (identified by Civil ID or other legal identifiers), and a record of the transaction's status (e.g., signed, cancelled).
- **Authentication Data:** Information required for legally-binding digital authentication, such as the Civil ID used for PACI integration. This data is processed solely for the purpose of verifying your identity and documenting the transaction.
**No other personal information is captured or stored beyond these transactional logs.** We do not collect behavioral data, location data, or any other data that is not strictly necessary for the digital contract process and legal compliance.
2. The Purpose and Legal Basis for Processing
The sole purpose of processing this data is to create a secure, immutable, and legally defensible record of your electronic transactions. The legal basis for this processing is:
- **Contractual Necessity:** Processing is necessary to fulfill our contractual obligations to you, our user, by providing a functioning and legally-compliant digital contract platform.
- **Legal Obligation:** The processing of this data, particularly through PACI authentication, is necessary to comply with Kuwait's Electronic Transactions Law and other applicable regulations.
3. Data Sharing and Disclosure
We do not share your transactional logs with any third party for marketing or advertising purposes. Data is only shared when absolutely necessary and for a specific, lawful reason, such as:
- With the **Public Authority for Civil Information (PACI)**, exclusively for the purpose of identity verification and digital signing.
- If we are required to do so by a court order or other legal process.
